Crafted by the vagaries of the wind, sand dunes can take many forms. Some form linear ridges, others undulate in gentle crescents. In profile, Lou Henry's Dune brings to mind the horizon line of the latter. Each slender handle rests on the table at its pointed tip, lifts gracefully, dips to the neck and rises again. From above, the handles stretch ridge-like, long and straight, the fork tines thin and elegant, and the knife blade practically invisible due to its cutting-edge vertical stance. As you marvel at the perfect balance of each smooth, weighty piece in your hand, you'll relish anew the very act of eating everyday meals. Forged in premium 18/10 stainless steel, Dune won't erode under dishwasher pressure or lose its reflective surface, even after eons of use.

  • 5-piece set includes a dinner knife, dinner fork, salad fork, soup spoon, and teaspoon
  • Forged of 18/10 stainless steel, which is exceptionally lustrous, durable, and rust-resistant
  • Dishwasher safe

Stainless Steel Flatware

Nambé's stainless steel flatware is dishwasher safe. Rinse each piece prior to loading it into the dishwasher and avoid overcrowding. These items may also be washed by hand using a mild detergent and soft sponge. Dry each piece promptly.

Care
  • Wash your flatware as soon as possible after each use
  • Do not leave flatware in standing water for extended periods of time
  • Avoid acidic detergents, such as lemon or other citrus dishwashing soaps, as long-term use of these products can dull your flatware's finish
  • Keep your flatware away from open flame or sources of extreme heat
  • Remove discoloration using a paste of baking soda and water
  • Nambé Polish or a stainless steel polish may also be used to polish Nambé flatware
  • Use care when using flatware and serving utensils together with Nambé Alloy serving pieces; they can scratch the surfaces
  • Do not store your flatware in plastic bags or other wrappings that trap moisture; for safe storage, remove from original packaging and wrap pieces individually in a soft cloth

We are unable to offer personalization on this item at this time. Most Nambé Alloy and Nambé Crystal items can be personalized. Our crystal items are personalized through a process called laser etching, which produces a result very similar to sandblasting. We create a high resolution image of your message and turn it over to our personalization experts, who use a computerized laser to create your message onto the surface of your Nambé purchase. For our Nambé Alloy products, the laser etch process is followed by sandblasting for impressively sharp edges.
