Your favorite bottle of white wine or champagne stays cool and crisp when served in our classic metal Wine Chiller. Thanks to the excellent thermal properties of the metal, the thick-walled chiller can be placed in the freezer before use, or in the oven if you plan to serve your sake hot at the table. Embracing a bottle with elegant ease, the smoothly polished holder features a slanted rim, which facilitates pulling out the bottle to pour another glass. Be prepared to settle in, as our Wine Chiller has been known to extend an evening into the night.
Chill Test: In August 2008, we conducted a test through an independent lab to compare how long wine stayed chilled when held in the Tilt Wine Chiller vs. no chiller. Two identical bottles of wine were cooled at 41 degrees F. for 24 hours and then subjected to an ambient temperature of 75 degrees F., one placed in the Tilt Wine Chiller. The bottle with no chiller reached room temperature in 2.58 hours, while the bottle in the chiller stayed cooler three times longer--not reaching room temperature for 8.16 hours.

Nambé possesses a certain mystique. Partly it's our very name and our connections to the landscape, culture and history of our origins. Nambé (pronounced na:m'bei) was christened for a tiny village near Santa Fe in Northern New Mexico where the company was founded in 1951.
But there's more to it, this mystique, which makes Nambé the "lifestyle" brand valued by people who love simple, elegant designs and love to share them with others.
The most distinguishing characteristic of Nambé is that our company is devoted as passionately to form as it is to function. Many early Nambé designs (Tri-Corner and Butterfly bowls, for instance) still sell briskly. This dedication to design defines Nambé. Timeless art you can use every day.
Early on, discerning buyers and customers of prestigious stores like Neiman-Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, Bloomingdale's and Gump's discovered Nambé. Museums added Nambé to their collections and exhibits.
