Rashid was born in Cairo, Egypt and grew up in England and Canada. He earned a degree in industrial design from Carleton University in Ottawa, and next studied design in Italy. Aaron Johnson's design studio is dedicated to the simple mission of creating beautiful objects for the home. As a third-generation New Mexican, Johnson has always drawn inspiration from the stark beauty of the canyonlands, mountains and deserts of the Southwest. He has won a number of design awards including The Chicago Athenaeum's 2000 and 2001 Good Design awards and platinum ADEX awards in 1999 and 2000.

For over 25 years, Scott and Torrie Morrison have been designing products for the home. Both graduates of Rhode Island School of Design, Scott and Torrie live and work just outside of New York City. Scott, a product designer and sculptor, works on the form-based projects in a wide variety of materials. Torrie, an illustrator and graphic designer, works on the surface design of the products. Because of their collective talent and experience the Morrisons collaborate to create distinctive products across many product categories. Their work has been featured in many home and design publications and used on the sets of both movies and television programs.
