How We Test Our Websites
Portmeirion Group USA, Inc. relies on both automated and manual accessibility and quality testing processes. Automated tests are validated and addressed by staff who engage in more thorough evaluations. Examples of resources and processes that we use to help us identify and resolve potential accessibility and quality issues include:- The website is permanently monitored for accessibility using Silktide.
- The site is manually tested in once a year by accessibility specialists at Silktide against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 AA
- Tests were conducted on a representative sample of pages following best practice. Pages tested reflect the varied functionality and content types found on our site.
- Testing includes;
- Automated tools: Initial scans conducted to catch common accessibility barriers.
- Manual testing: Evaluators performed keyboard-only navigation, focus order checks, color contrast inspections, and tabbing sequence reviews.
